Silas Cheever Mason
Silas Cheever Mason ( 1857 - 1935) fue un botánico, silvicultor, y horticultor estadounidense. Realizó extensas expediciones botánicas por el norte de África. Como dasónomo viajó a Europa para estudiar y observar la silvicultura en Francia, Suiza, Alemania y Prusia.
